Kansas City, All in One Place.
Sidewalk is Kansas City's marketplace for independent makers, artists, food vendors, and experience creators. We built this platform to make it easier for locals to discover and support the people who make KC worth living in — and to give vendors a real, modern way to reach their community.
How Sidewalk Started
Sidewalk grew out of a simple frustration: Kansas City has incredible local talent, but there was no single place to find it. Artists were scattered across Instagram. Vendors were buried in Facebook groups. Events lived in newsletters nobody subscribed to.
We built Sidewalk to fix that.
Our Mission
We exist to make it easier for Kansas City residents to discover, buy from, and support the independent makers, artists, food vendors, and experience creators who give this city its character. Every purchase on Sidewalk goes directly to a local seller — no algorithms pushing national brands, no middlemen taking a cut.
Who Sidewalk Is For
SideWalk is for the person who wants to buy a hand-thrown mug from the potter in Westport. For the family looking for a weekend pop-up market in the Crossroads. For the vendor who’s been selling at First Fridays and is ready for a storefront that works 24/7.
If you’re from KC, this was built for you.
The People Behind Sidewalk
Sidewalk is a small team of Kansas City locals who believe local economies are worth fighting for. We're builders, designers, and community organizers who got tired of watching great vendors get lost in the noise.
